What is respiratory system?

Respiratory system is the system that inhales air and separate Oxygen from others like Argon and Nitrogen, and the body takes the Oxygen for the body and exhale out Carbon Dioxide with the different gases. The Oxygen was being pumped by the heart, carried by the red blood cells.

What is the process of respiration?

Picture

1) Air is taken from the air, into the nostrils and is filltered by the hair
2) Then the air passes into the voice box(adam's apple)
3) Then the air goes into trachea, the trachea is made of rings of cartilage and
inside is linings of epithelium which brushes debris upwards
4) At the end of the trachea, the tube separates into two different tubes called
bronchi (singular is bronchus) and these two tubes leads into the lungs and in
the bronchi, there is mucus in it and they traps the dust to prevent them from
    damaging the lung's tissue.
5) In the lungs, the bronchi divides in to smaller branches like a tree called
bronchioles and for every bronchiole, it divides again into smaller, tinier alveoli
(singular is alveolus) which are tiny air sacs made of squamous cells.
6) From the alveoli, the Oxygen was pushed into the circulatory system through
the thin walls of the alveoli and the blood vessels to carry the Oxygen around
the body for the organs or places in need for Oxygen. in order for the alveoli the
work properly, it must keep moist and there is special cells in the alveoli to
produce a substance called surfactant to reduce surface tension of water
7) And after this, the unneeded gases will be exhaled from the lungs and release
    through the nose or mouth
